Photo-Mandala

photo-mandalas is inspired by mandala - traditional sacred image.

mandala - any of various geometric designs (usually circular) symbolizing the universe; used chiefly in hinduism and buddhism as an aid to meditation.the photo-mandalas are real photographs. same as with traditional mandalas, you can use the photo-mandalas as an aid to meditation...The more you look at the image, the more you see. new worlds, new levels come up from the centre of the picture - and you can go deeper and deeper inside the image. in the image, there is no up, no down, no left, no right, no past, no future, everything happens at the present moment while you are viewing the image. just unity. a circle with no beginning, neverending. inner peace...The prints are made completely by hand, they have never seen a computer. i believe this way i can keep the energy of the prints. each photomandala is a record of one real moment from my life. sometimes i also call this portfolio wheel of life. the name of each image is usually simply the place where i took the picture.
i am happy i can share my images with others.

may peace prevail on earth.
