The Ordem dos Advogados do Brasil (Order of Attorneys in Law of Brazil) is the Brazilian Bar association. It was founded in 1930. It is an organization of lawyers and is responsible for the regulation of the legal profession in the country. The Bar Association has always been ahead of the big national events that changed the history of Brazil, such as human rights, amnesty, campaign of direct-ever, the convening of the Constituent Assembly and the impeachment of former President Collor.
