Lydia Panas, USA

Lydia Panas is an award winning photographer whose work has been exhibited internationally.  Lydia's work has been published widely in periodicals
such as the New York Times Magazine, Photo District News, Popular Photography, German GEO, the San Francisco Chronicle and the Wall Street Journal Blog.  Lydia has degrees
from Boston College, School of Visual Arts, and New York University / International Center of Photography. She also received a Whitney Museum Independent Study Fellowship.

Lydia has taught photography at numerous institutions including The Museum of Modern Art, Lafayette. Muhlenberg and Moravian Colleges, Kutztown University,
Maine Media Workshops, Houston Center for Photography, The Vermont College MFA Program and The Baum School of Art/ Lehigh Carbon Community College.

Her first monograph "The Mark of Abel", was published by Kehrer Verlag, and received a Best Books
Nomination from Photo Eye Magazine (2011), named in the Photo District News’ PHOTO ANNUAL Books of 2012, as well as Best Coffee Table Book of 2012 by the Daily Beast.
