The Sewastyanov House

Since 2009, the Sevastyanov House is the official residence of the President of the Russian Federation in the Urals. Official meetings involving leaders of different countries and international forums are held here. The estate was first mentioned in the documents at the beginning of the 19th Century. In 1866, the building received its modern image by its owner, mining industrialist Nikolai Sevastyanov. Elements of the Neo-Gothic and Baroque were implemented in the architectural decor. After 1870, the Regional Court and the Regional Trade Union occupied the estate. Restoration work was done in 2009 and the original colors (white, green and terracotta) were used.
