Genoa, Palazzo Doria Tursi 2 (Comune di Genova)
The Palazzo Doria Tursi was built in the Genovese renaissance architectural style by Giovanni and Domenico Ponzello. It was constructed in the mid of the 16th century for Niccolo Grimaldi. After Grimaldi's ruin the palazzo was acquired by Giovanni Andrea Doria, the Duke of Tursi. The Palazzo Doria Tursi became the Town council. Inside of the building are a façade, with stonework by Finale and grotesques by T. Carlone, stairway, a gallerie hall and two sides hanging gardens.
