The yellow-red cranes were originally constructed by VEB Kranbau Eberswalde in the German Democratic Republic. Because the company delivered high quality products at good conditions in the past, some of them can still be found at many harbours around the globe. The old cranes in Puerto Madero aren’t in use anymore.
