Neuer Aachener Kunstverein
The NAK Neuer Aachener Kunstverein cordially invites you to this year's Digital Benefit Auction in December 2020 under the patronage of Prof. Henrik Hanstein (Kunsthaus Lempertz, Cologne). The auction can be accessed at neueraachenerkunstverein.auction.
This year, the auction will not take place on site, but will be completely digital for the first time. In three weekly blocks we will put the works to be auctioned online, each from Monday to Sunday. On Sunday evening, the works on offer will be auctioned off on a time-delayed basis, with the highest bid then winning the auction. The first auction week will begin on November 30, and the last auction will end on December 20, 2020. To participate in the auction and place bids, please register in advance on this page. You will be informed by email if you are outbid and also in case of a winning bid on Sunday evening. If a bid is placed on a work in the last 5 minutes, its duration will be automatically extended once by another 3 minutes. After successful bidding on a work, you will receive an invoice from us for the purchase. After payment (bank transfer, card or cash payment on site) we will send the work or it can be picked up at the NAK by appointment.
Block 1: November 30 to December 06
Block 2: 07 December to 13 December
Block 3: 14 December to 20 December
Due to the pandemic, the exhibition presentation of the works on site will not be open to the public this year. Instead, digital formats such as video tours will bring the exhibits and participating artists* closer to interested parties; likewise, we are already presenting all works via Instagram and Facebook.
Thank you to Maurice Funken and the whole team at Neuer Aachener Kunstverein for doing this fantastic year long programe
