London, Lloyd's at night

The Building of the Lloyd insurance was designed by architect Richard Rogers, who won the Pritzker-award in 2007 because of that building. The construction started in1978 and was finished in 1986. The construction system is steel frame with a glass curtain wall and its build in High Tech Modern Style. The building consists of three main towers and three service towers around a central, rectangular space. The Lloyd's Building is 88 metres to the roof, with 14 floors each floor can be altered with the addition or removal of partitions and walls. In 2008, The Twentieth Century Society called for the building to be Grade I listed.
