Plaza Reial

The Plaza Reial was designed by Francesc Daniel Molina from 1848-1859. It is located next to the Ramblas and is situated in the Barrio Gotico. Antoní Gaudí, who still was an unknown architect at this time, built the laterns which light up the place in the evening and at night. On the place is the famous Fuente de las tres Gracias. The Place has three entrances. The Carrer de Colom is the greatest and is situated next to the Ramblas. The place has a typical Spanish style. It is surrounded by houses with 3 and 4 floors.
