The beginning of the 90s was under the impression of acid rain and forest dieback. Thomas Kellner experimented since 1993 with a pinhole camera, with which he exposed collages on a negative. Ten different pictures were created, which experimentally captured the death of a tree between Chinese calligraphy, ornamentation and monotype. In the process, the first photographs were taken, which intervened in the composition by means of tilted camera.
